The Center for Biologic Imaging (CBI) is one of the largest optical imaging laboratories in the country. It is an elite, multi-faculty driven research Center with an essential focus on building, improving and implementing complex optical microscope platforms.  It is deeply committed to providing and developing solutions using conventional and custom platforms to solve problems in biomedical research, which include all aspects of experimental design, sample preparation, microscope based imaging and computer aided processing and analysis.  The Center is not a traditional fee for service core facility, in almost every situation we work with research groups to build mutually funded scientific enterprise. While we can act as a fee for service resource if absolutely necessary we avoid it as much as possible.  Such that the workings of the Center can be appropriately described, initial contact should always be between the PI of the research group and one of the Center faculty (see the faculty contact page on this site) For a limited description of some of the platforms available in the Center see the resources pages.
